Third Quarter:
The Rams received the second half kickoff, and they held onto the ball for a majority of the third quarter. Their opening drive ended with a touchdown to give them a one-point lead.
A couple of dead drives, leading to punts, ate up a large portion of the third quarter. However, a spark was seen when Tagovailoa and the Dolphins were forced to start a drive from their own six-yard line after a beautiful punt.
On the first snap of the drive, Tagovailoa was sacked at the half-yard line.
Now, receiving the snap in his own end zone, Tagovailoa was committed to giving the offense some breathing room. He rolled left and remained patient before finding a wide open DeVante Parker for a 32-yard completion to get them out of the hole.
The drive resulted in a field goal to cut give Miami a two-point lead.
