‘Madden’ sim predicts Budda Baker has 2 INTs in 30-24 Cardinals win over Rams

The Cardinals improve to 11-2 on the season with a 30-24 home win on Monday night against the Rams, according to a simulation of the game on Madden NFL 22.

The Arizona Cardinals have a huge Week 14 game Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams. They already beat them once this season.

Will they be able to do it again and clinch a playoff berth for the first time since 2015?

If things go in real life as they went in a simulation of the game on Madden NFL 22, Cardinals fans will be happy.

In the simulation, the Cardinals picked up a 30-24 win.

It was a scoreless game until the second quarter, when Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was picked off by Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey and then L.A. converted that turnover into a four-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to running back Sony Michel.

The Cardinals then took over.

Matt Prater kicked a 54-yard field goal to get the Cardinals on the board and running back James Conner had a one-yard touchdown run to put the Cardinals in the lead, a lead they would not relinquish the rest of the way.

After halftime, Murray connected with DeAndre Hopkins for a 67-yard touchdown to make it 17-7 and the Rams answered with a 48-yard field goal.

Safety Budda Baker picked off Stafford in the third quarter and Conner scored his second one-yard touchdown to start the fourth quarter to make it 24-10.

Baker then picked off Stafford again on the next drive the Cardinals kicked a field goal to make it 27-10.

The Rams got a touchdown from Stafford to Van Jefferson but failed to recover the onside kick. The Cardinals added a 47-yard field goal to extend the lead to 30-17 and then Stafford threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp in garbage time.

30-24 was the final score.

Murray completed only 16-of-34 passes for 259 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He also rushed for 41 yards. Conner had 54 rushing yards and two scores and Hopkins led the team with five catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.

Stafford had 308 passing yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Kupp had the exact same numbers as Hopkins and Odell Beckham had six receptions for 81 yards.
