The Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams play a real football game on Sunday. The game will be decided by the play on the field. What might happen in the game?
In a simulation of the game on Madden NFL 20 to see what artificial intelligence says will happen, the Cardinals lose another close game, falling 23-20 to the rival Rams.
The Cardinals score first and take a 7-0 lead and also lead 10-7, but the Rams score 13 straight points to make it 20-10 and again 23-13 in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals rally to make it 23-20 but run out of time.
Todd Gurley dominates in the running game, rushing for 117 yards and a touchdown in 29 carries. He fumbles once. Quarterback Jared Goff goes 14-for-25 for only 200 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Brandin Cooks leads the Rams with three catches for 70 yards and the lone receiving touchdown.
The Cardinals struggle to run the ball. David Johnson finishes with 32 yards on nine carries, while Kenyan Drake has 23 yards on seven attempts and scores a touchdown.
Kyler Murray completes 23-of-34 passes for 216 yards, one score and an interception. Christian Kirk catches eight passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. Murray is sacked twice by Clay Matthews, while Terrell Suggs has the only sack for Arizona.
