The UCLA Bruins football program inked a number of players on the Early Signing Day on Wednesday. However, DeShaun Foster’s program suffered a massive loss as quarterback Madden Iamaleava flipped his commitment and decided to join the Arkansas Razorbacks, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.
“BREAKING: Four-Star QB Madden Iamaleava has Flipped his Commitment from UCLA to Arkansas, he tells me for @on3recruits. The 6’3 195 QB had been Committed to the Bruins since May Younger brother of Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava “SEC we here.”
Madden Iamaleava had been committed to UCLA since May, and it was a big step in the right direction for the Bruins as they grabbed a potential quarterback of the future.
Now, he is headed for the SEC and Arkansas.
It is a big blow to the Bruins, who also lost quarterback Justyn Martin (in the transfer portal, however).
