It’s been a season to remember for North Carolina junior Mac Horvath as he became the first ACC player to have 20 home runs, 20 doubles, and 20 stolen bases in a single season in 24 years.
Horvath joined Florida State’s Marshall McDougall, who accomplished similar stats in 1999. Earlier this month, Horvath had a historic four-game stretch, becoming the first Tar Heel in UNC history with 19 RBIs in that amount of games. A week later Horvath added to his historic season by becoming the second Tar Heel in school history to notch 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in the same season.
