North Carolina outfielder [autotag]Mac Horvath[/autotag] has earned first-team All-Atlantic honors after a historic season.
The announcement came Tuesday, giving credit to Horvath for a remarkable season. The honor comes on the heels of Horvath being selected with Jackson Van De Brake to the All-ACC second team.
This year Horvath reached new heights, becoming the first ACC player to have 20 home runs, 20 doubles, and 20 stolen bases in a single season in 24 years. This season, Horvath also delivered a historic four-game stretch, becoming the first Tar Heel in UNC history with 19 RBIs in that amount of games.

Horvath was the only Tar Heel to make first or second-team All-America, with Wake Forest holding the majority of the slots.
Horvath finishes his junior season with career highs in hits (73), runs (73), home runs (24), RBIs (66), and stolen bases (25). UNC season might not have gone as fans had hoped, but it was an incredible sightseeing Horvath swing onto the scene.
