As the North Carolian Tar Heels baseball program hits the stretch run of the season, they need to stack some wins with just two weeks left.
On Tuesday, they got this important stretch off to a good start with a 5-4 win over Gardner-Webb. While there was a heated moment late in the game with UNC trailing, the Tar Heels were able to rally and get the last laugh. And in the process, one of their star players made some history.
Mac Horvath hit a home run in the third inning of the game, giving him 20 on the year. With that home run, he became the second player in school history to hit 20 home runs and have 20 stolen bases in the same season.

Horvath has been fantastic for the Tar Heels this season and if they want to make a run in the postseason, they are going to need Horvath and others to step up.
