MADISON — The University of Tennessee baseball team and coach Tony Vitello recently picked up a commitment from a rising in-state sophomore.
Luke Payne, a member of the class of 2023, announced his intentions to continue his education at Tennessee and play for the Diamond Vols.

He made his announcement on a social media post.
He Tweeted:

Payne, a 6-foot-2, 167-pound left-handed pitcher, plays for Goodpasture Christian School in suburban Nashville. He plays travel baseball for Knights North Cruse.
