The headline above? That’s it, that’s the post.
Seriously, though. Luka Doncic just put together a second straight 38-plus point triple double with a 38-11-10 line in a win over the Chicago Bulls, two nights after a 39-12-10 in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets that also included a pair of steals.
Two months ago, he was already blowing away the competition and putting up absurd stats. The Dallas Mavericks star had 22 points, five rebounds and five assists IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF A GAME. Back in November, the Mavericks were literally off the charts in offensive rating because of Doncic.
What else can you say about what he’s doing? Just sit back and watch this:

The vision, the shooting, the dribbling ability. LeBron James comparisons might feel hyperbolic at the moment, but the man is doing James-like things, and of course we have to wait and see if he can do this for the next 15 years or so.
But my goodness! This is wild!
Luka Doncic has 10th 30-point triple-double, already as many as LeBron James (5), Oscar Robertson (3) and Magic Johnson (2) combined before turning 22 years old. Doncic is 20.

Heck, he’s also adding talking trash to his resume. THE CONFIDENCE!

The nuttiest stuff here is that Doncic does this on a nightly basis. He’s thisclose to averaging a triple-double (29.7 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 8.9 apg) at such a young age, which means you’re basically going to see magic (or Magic-like things) practically every game.
Is other-worldly the phrase to use? Yeah, that’s it. But we’re starting to run out of ways to describe what Doncic continues to do every time he steps on to an NBA court.
