LSU’s offensive team rating for College Football 25 revealed

The Tigers have an 89 offensive rating in the upcoming video game, good for sixth in the country.

EA Sports is using this week to reveal some new information about its upcoming and highly anticipated College Football 25 video game.

On Tuesday, the publisher released its rankings of the toughest stadiums to play at in the game — in which Tiger Stadium comes in at No. 3 overall — and on Thursday, we got our first look at team offensive ratings.

The Tigers’ unit loses a lot from last season but it still ranks near the top at No. 6, given an 89 rating. Heisman-winning quarterback [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] is moving on, but Garrett Nussmeier enters his first year as the starter in 2024 with high expectations.

He still has some promising weapons in Kyren Lacy and Chris Hilton Jr., who both could be poised for breakouts, and Liberty receiver transfer CJ Daniels. The Tigers also boast what is arguably the best offensive line in the country.

There are questions about the unit, to be sure, but it’s clear EA Sports thinks it will be a productive group once again this fall.
