LSU’s Malik Nabers now sits at No. 2 in On3’s receiver rankings

Malik Nabers is already having an incredible season.

[autotag]Malik Nabers[/autotag] entered his junior season with massive expectations, and so far, he has more than lived up to them.

Nabers leads the nation with 981 receiving yards, and he is just 19 yards away from joining Josh Reed as the only receiver in LSU history to record back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. Nabers has nine receiving touchdowns on the year, which ranks third in the nation.

He will likely be in the mix for the Biletnikoff Award at the end of the season, and for now, he sits second in On3’s wide receiver rankings behind only Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr., who is almost universally expected to be a top-five pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

Nabers continues to put up ridiculous numbers, and that carried over once again in a win over Army. The talented Tigers pass-catcher caught four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns, averaging more than 30 yards per catch.

That brought Nabers’ season-long totals to 56 catches for 981 yards and nine touchdowns. Nabers leads the nation in receiving yards per game, averaging 122.6 yards per contest.

Nabers has been a huge part of LSU’s offensive success so far this season, and the Tigers hope that will continue as next up is a crucial matchup on the road against Alabama.
