LSU-Missouri: Four things to know

LSU heads to Columbia, Missouri to face the Missouri Tigers for just the third time ever on Saturday.

The No. 17 LSU Tigers (1-1) face the Missouri Tigers (0-2) on Saturday.

LSU travels to Columbia to face Missouri due to the threat of Hurricane Delta.

Ed Orgeron’s Tigers rebounded last week with a dominating 41-7 win at Vanderbilt after losing to Mississippi State in the season opener.

Here are four things to know before kickoff on Saturday.

Third all-time meeting

LSU and Missouri have met just twice all time. The Tigers took down Missouri 42-7 in Baton Rouge in 2016. Missouri joined the SEC in 2012 along with Texas A&M. In the 1978 Liberty Bowl, Missouri defeated LSU 20-15.

This marks the first ever trip to Columbia for LSU in program history. The game will kick at 11 am CST instead of the originally scheduled 8 pm CST kick.
