LSU women’s basketball makes the cut for another top 10 prospect

LSU remains in the mix for several elite prospects in the 2025 class.

The LSU women’s basketball team is looking to add to a 2025 recruiting class that already features one top-25 prospect in [autotag]Bella Hines[/autotag], and it made the cut for a pair of players in the top 10 this week.

[autotag]ZaKiyah Johnson[/autotag], a Kentucky shooting guard who ranks as the No. 4 player in the class, announced her finalists on Thursday. On Friday, she was joined by shooting guard [autotag]Divine Bourrage[/autotag], the No. 7 player in the class per On3 from Davenport, Iowa.

LSU is joined in the five-star’s top six by Illinois, Baylor, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Arizona. Bourrage told On3’s Talia Goodman she plans to unofficially visit all six.

In addition to these players, On3 currently views LSU as the favorite for [autotag]Aaliyah Chavez[/autotag], the No. 1 player in the nation from Lubbock, Texas. The Tigers are still looking to flesh out their 2025 class, but it has the chance to be an elite group.
