Hardly anyone thought LSU football could make anything positive of its last two remaining games on schedule, with the No. 6-ranked Florida Gators in the mix.

But the Tigers traveled to The Swamp and pulled off the unthinkable — keeping it competitive with Florida and ultimately downing the Gators, 37-34 thanks to a record-breaking 57-yard field goal from Cade York followed by a missed field goal attempt on Florida’s end.

Now sitting with an overall record of 4-5, the Tigers seek to finish the season on a high note by evening out their record against the visiting Ole Miss Rebels (4-4).

The Tigers are currently considered slight favorites to win the game, after being counted out by three scores last Saturday.
