Top PFF Grades

  • Jack Bech, WR: 73.4
  • Josh Williams, RB: 73.4
  • Ty Davis-Price, RB: 70.2
  • Cameron Wire, LT: 69.3
  • Jack Mashburn, TE: 68.1

Passing Offense

It was not a great passing performance for either quarterback in this game. Nussmeier showed a little bit early on but he is a gunslinger and can be a bit erratic at times. The offense showed no consistency with Max Johnson in the game but he never had time to get into a rhythm. Looking at both quarterbacks it is fair to say that they aren’t exactly the issue with the unit but they are also not the solution.

Grade: C-

Rushing Offense

Ty Davis-Price finished the game with yet another 100-yard performance. He is now up to 886 yards on the season. TDP has tallied his fourth 100-yard game in five weeks. He has been the most consistent part of the offense as of late. The Hogs defense was able to hold him to just 3.8 yards per attempt and didn’t allow a rushing touchdown.

Grade: B-

Their overall unit grade comes out to a C. They could have been a lot better and it could have been worse. They will look better against ULM this upcoming week but the real test comes in the season finale with Texas A&M.

What about the defense?
