After receiver decommitment [autotag]Dakorien Moore[/autotag] pledged to Oregon last week, LSU went back to the drawing board as it looks to add a top receiver recruit to the 2025 class.
It will have another shot at doing just that on Saturday as four-star Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) receiver [autotag]Derek Meadows[/autotag] is set to make a decision. Notre Dame is seen as the favorite for the No. 47 overall prospect and No. 7 receiver, according to the On3 industry rankings, but LSU may be in the mix.
According to LSU Country’s Zack Nagy, the Tigers are “surging” for Meadows after hosting him for an official visit earlier this summer. Meadows is set to decide between LSU, the Fighting Irish, Alabama, Georgia and Michigan.
LSU is pushing for a top-five class in 2025 with a pair of industry five-stars already on board. Landing a top-50 prospect like Meadows at a position of need on Saturday would certainly go a long way.
