For the first time since fall camp began, the LSU Tigers suffered their first major injury when reserve tight end Aaron Moffitt reportedly tore his ACL.
Moffitt posted a message that appeared to be in reference to the injury on his Twitter account around the same time it occurred.
God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers #GOOD

This would be the second time Moffitt has torn his ACL, considering he also tore an ACL back in Oct. 2018.

The 6-foot-2, 237-pound redshirt junior came to Baton Rouge as a defensive end before coaches moved him to tight end during his freshman season.
If there is one position where LSU has depth, it is at tight end. Freshman Arik Gilbert is the expected starter while Tory Carter, freshman Kole Taylor and Nick Storz will all battle for time.
Moffitt contributed primarily on special teams in 2019 for the national championship team.
