LSU still out of AP Top 25 heading into Week 12

LSU football remains out of the AP Top 25 poll for the sixth straight week despite defeating Arkansas, 27-24.

Despite defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks 27-24 on Saturday, and moving to 3-3 on the season, the LSU Tigers remain out of the AP Top 25 poll.

The Tigers received votes in the Amway Coaches Poll, but the AP voters had other thoughts.

LSU faces Texas A&M in a crucial SEC match-up next Saturday in College Station.

The final four games for the Tigers features three top 25 ranked teams on the schedule. Texas A&M, which is ranked No. 5, hosts LSU next week. As of now, the Tigers are scheduled to play at No. 6 Florida on Dec. 12.

The Tigers’ game with No. 1 Alabama hasn’t been rescheduled yet, but an announcement should come in the coming weeks about a make up date for that game.
