The LSU Tigers defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday to improve to 2-2 on the season.
In the latest Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports, the Tigers remain unranked. LSU did receive 37 votes for the top 25.
Clemson and Alabama remain at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, after big wins on Saturday.
The Big Ten finally returned to action this week, and Ohio State won big and moved up two spots to No. 3. Notre Dame and Georgia each move down one spot to No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.

Oklahoma State, Cincinnati, Texas A&M, Florida and Brigham Young round out the top 10.
Penn State, ranked No. 7 last week, lost a 36-35 heartbreaker to Indiana to drop to No. 17.
Virginia Tech, Minnesota and NC State all dropped out while Oklahoma, Army and Indiana move into the top 25.
