The LSU Tigers (1-2) come off an unexpected open date after their game against the Florida Gators was postponed due to COVID-19 last week.
Next up for the defending national champions are the South Carolina Gamecocks (2-2).
The Gamecocks started the season 0-2 with losses to Tennessee and Florida before picking up wins over Vanderbilt and Auburn the last two weeks.
The Tigers are looking to back into the win column this week after an embarrassing 45-41 loss to Missouri earlier this month. LSU’s defense has given up 1,218 yards and 89 points in its two losses this season.

As for this weekend’s contest, the Tigers have opened as six-point favorites, according to BetMGM.
It’s important to note that LSU could be without quarterback Myles Brennan, who is questionable for the game with what is described as a “significant lower-body injury.”
