LSU’s offense had a hot start on offense against Auburn on Saturday night, putting together two scoring drives to open the game.
However, the unit suffered a pretty significant loss in the first quarter as starting right tackle [autotag]Emery Jones[/autotag] left the game with an apparent left leg injury. He had to be helped off the field, and after some time on the sideline, he eventually walked back to the locker room on crutches.
Jones is the reigning SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week and has been a fixture in the starting lineup in almost every game since arriving last fall. With Jones out, true freshman [autotag]Lance Heard[/autotag] is seeing reps at right tackle.

We’ll keep you posted with any updates on Jones’ status moving forward.
