It was a relatively boring Saturday for LSU fans as the Tigers had an off week before the big matchup on the Bayou against Alabama on Saturday.
There were a few shakeups in the world of college football, though, as Gus Malzahn led the UCF Knights to a big win against Cincinnati and Oklahoma State got blown out by Kansas State.
So, where does that leave LSU in the latest Coaches Poll? It moved up three spots to No. 17 this week thanks to Oklahoma State, Wake Forest, Cincinnati and Syracuse all losing. Ole Miss got a win against Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies in College Station, so that helps LSU’s case as far as quality wins. Alabama remained the No. 6 team in the poll setting up a big top-25 matchup under the lights in Death Valley next Saturday night.
[autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] is 0-2 all-time against Nick Saban, can he change that this weekend?
