Joe Burrow dishes on the LSU Tigers
According to the Sports Illustrated LSU website, former Tigers QB Joe Burrow discussed his former team.
“That was a tough one but they got a great coaching staff that’ll get that right,” Burrow said on The Dan Patrick Show. “The physicality was lacking a little bit and if I know Coach O that’s not gonna last very long.” – Burrow on the lack of physicality
The team has always had a physical aura around them, which seems to be lacking this year. Orgeron is a coach that preaches being physical on both sides of the ball. Offensively speaking, they are anything but physical through two games. They need to come out against Central Michigan and enforce their will on the Chippewas.
“You need momentum early in the season to gain more and more momentum, it keeps snowballing,” Burrow said. “We felt giving up a big lead, coming back and winning the game and making big plays when they count, it’s going to serve us well going forward.” – Burrow on the win over Minnesota
