LSU has made the top nine for a four-star two-sport athlete from the Lone Star State.
[autotag]Dre’lon Miller[/autotag] is a 6-foot-2, 198-pound, four-star wide receiver from Silsbee, Texas, where he plays for Silsbee High School.
Miller received an offer from LSU to play football on Oct. 22 and received an offer to play basketball on March 6.
He attended LSU’s spring game last weekend to possibly take one last look before he commits on June 29.
The Tigers made the top nine along with Florida, Penn State, USC, Miami, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Georgia and Duke. There are currently no crystal ball projections for Miller but LSU is an 86% favorite per On3.
LSU currently has 13 commits for the 2024 recruiting class with only one wide receiver. There is no such thing as having too many wide receivers because you never know who will end up panning out. Kelly hopes he has found the next star at wide receiver in Miller.
