LSU makes the cut for UC Riverside transfer Zyon Pullin

Coach Matt McMahon isn’t done in the transfer portal just yet.

LSU coach [autotag]Matt McMahon[/autotag] has been one of the most active coaches in the country when it comes to the transfer portal this offseason, but he’s not done yet.

The Tigers remain in the mix for talented UC Riverside graduate transfer point guard [autotag]Zyon Pullin[/autotag]. The Pleasant Hil, California, native recently released a top five that included Florida, Gonzaga, Michigan and Xavier in addition to LSU.

After seeing considerable action off the bench as a true freshman, Pullin became a full-time starter over the last three seasons. He was a First Team All-Big West selection this past season, averaging 18.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

Pullin flirted with the draft but ultimately withdrew last month and entered the transfer portal. He’s taking a visit to Florida this weekend, and some see this as a battle between the Gators and Wolverines.

LSU has competition from other quality programs here, and the Tigers will hope they are able to secure a visit before he makes his decision.
