LSU makes the cut for 4-star receiver

The Tigers are looking to sway former Texas commit Aeryn Hampton.

[autotag]Aeryn Hampton[/autotag] is a 2024 four-star wide receiver from Daingerfield, Texas, where he plays for Dangerfield High School.

Hampton recently released his top-ten list of schools he will consider moving forwards and the LSU Tigers made the cut. The Tigers join Alabama, Oregon, Nebraska, Michigan, Colorado, Ole Miss, Texas, TCU, and Michigan State in the top 10.

Hampton was once a Texas commitment, but he decommitted on Nov. 29. The Longhorns have been crystal ball predicted to land him twice, but those were earlier in 2022.

The most recent crystal ball prediction has Hampton going to Nebraska to play for new head coach Matt Rhule. Needless to say, Hampton is up for grabs and LSU has its name in the hat.

The Tigers currently have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for the class of 2024 with eight commitments. Hampton would join Joseph Stone in the receiving core in this class if he were to commit.
