LSU makes final 5 for 4-star 2025 shooting guard

LSU is a finalist for yet another top 2025 prospect.

[autotag]Matt McMahon[/autotag] and his coaching staff have found themselves in the top 5 for a four-star shooting guard in the 2025 recruiting class.

[autotag]Kayden Edwards[/autotag] is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound, four-star shooting guard from Fort Worth, Texas, where he plays for Duncanville High School. The Duncanville Panthers finished last season with a 19-10 record and with a loss to Wylie East in the playoffs.

LSU joins USC, Colorado, TCU and Oklahoma State in the top five for the talented shooting guard. There are no crystal ball projections for Edwards at this time but TCU is a 25% favorite to land him per On3’s recruiting prediction machine.

LSU currently does not have any commitments for the 2025 recruiting class in basketball but McMahon has the Tigers in the hunt for a lot of the top talent in the class. Edwards would be a great addition to the Tigers team but there is still some time before he signs his name to the dotted line.
