After a comfortable 42-10 win over South Alabama on Saturday night, the Tigers are moving up in both polls.
They saw a one-spot rise to No. 12 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, and now, they’re also moving up one spot in the AP Top 25, in which they now rank No. 13. LSU jumped Utah in both polls, which lost at home to Arizona with quarterback Cam Rising out yet again.
The Tigers still rank behind Ole Miss, their next opponent after the bye. The Rebels lost their first game of the season on Saturday at home against Kentucky.
All told, there are nine SEC teams in the top 25 including a new No. 1 in Alabama and Texas A&M, which is tied with UNLV for the final spot. Here’s the full AP Top 25 after Week 5.
