LSU coach [autotag]Matt McMahon[/autotag] has the Tigers in the mix for one of the best available players in the 2024 recruiting class.
Four-star Asheville (N.C.) Combine Academy small forward [autotag]Rakease Passmore[/autotag] has been ramping up his recruitment, taking official visits to Indiana and Oregon. According to On3, he’s also eying trips to LSU and Creighton.
Passmore said that the Tigers’ coaching staff gave him his first offer when they were at Murray State, and McMahon extended an offer to Passmore after arriving in Baton Rouge, as well.
LSU is currently at 20.8% to land Passmore — the No. 45 player per the 247Sports Composite — according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, just behind the leader in Miami.
Passmore is in no rush to announce a commitment and said he has not yet decided whether he will sign early or late. McMahon is still looking for his first commitment in the 2024 class.
