LSU football’s 2025 schedule was revealed on Wednesday night. We already knew the opponents, but now we have the dates.
LSU will face Clemson, Louisiana Tech, Florida, and Western Kentucky in the nonconference slate.
In conference slate, the Tigers face the opponents they did in 2024, with the location being flipped. LSU was at Florida in 2024, so in 2025, the Gators travel to Baton Rouge.
That means the teams absent from LSU’s schedule in 2024 will remain absent in 2025. Any Tiger fan hoping for a rekindling of games with Auburn or Mississippi State will have to wait at least one more year.
It’s another double-bye year. LSU has its first open date on Oct. 4 and keeps the traditional open date before the Alabama contest.
LSU’s schedule will likely be one of the toughest in the country. LSU opens on the road at a playoff team and will face an improved Florida squad to open SEC play.
Teams like South Carolina and Texas A&M have a chance to take another step forward after strong 2024 campaigns. The good news is LSU gets both squads at home.
LSU will have to play on the road at Ole Miss and Alabama. As usual, those games have a chance to define LSU’s season.
