Former LSU running back Derrius Guice was accused of rape by two former LSU students back in 2016, according to a report from USA TODAY.
Guice, through his lawyer, denied the allegations.
In the report, written by Kenny Jacoby and Nancy Armour, several disturbing allegations surfaced regarding LSU and how much it knew and chose not to investigate.
One such allegation centered on head football coach Ed Orgeron.
According to a former player who was the boyfriend of one of the alleged victims at the time, Orgeron said, ‘Everybody’s girlfriend sleeps with other people,’ the former player told USA TODAY. That comment allegedly occurred one year after the alleged assault.

On Thursday evening, Orgeron responded via his Twitter account.

Orgeron acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations against Guice. However, he denied making those comments to the former player.
The LSU Tigers are tentatively scheduled to open the 2020 season on Sept. 26 against Mississippi State.
