The reeling LSU Tigers (1-2) are back on the road this week as they travel to Gainesville to face the No. 9 Florida Gators (2-1).
After being ranked No. 16 last week, the defending champions fell out of the Amway Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports, after an ugly 45-41 loss to the Missouri Tigers.
The Gators are coming off their first loss, dropping a 41-38 heartbreaker to the Texas A&M Aggies.
This will be the 67th all-time meeting between LSU and Florida, with the Gators holding a slight 33-30-3 edge.

Last season’s meeting was one of LSU’s more difficult games in its path toward the national championship.
The two teams met last October in a clash of undefeated top-10 teams. Florida quarterback Kyle Trask had one of his better performances at that time, completing 23 of 39 passes for 310 yards and three touchdowns.
The Gators led the then-No. 1 Tigers 28-21 in the third quarter when LSU’s defense finally got to Trask. That was all eventual Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow would need to help the Tigers reel off 21 unanswered points en route to a 42-28 LSU victory.
The two teams have split the last four meetings, with the Tigers winning five of the previous seven contests between the SEC heavyweights.
