LSU’s hoping for a victory against Ole Miss in Week 7, and it started Saturday off with a victory on the recruiting trail.

The Tigers flipped four-star safety [autotag]Jacob Bradford[/autotag], a Baton Rouge native, from Houston. Bradford had been committed to the Cougars since June, but he picked up an offer from LSU in late July and officially visited last week.

He decommitted on Thursday, and the Tigers completed the flip on Saturday afternoon. News of his commitment was first reported by On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Bradford ranks as a top-400 player nationally and is the No. 12 player in the state of Louisiana. He becomes the 27th member of a recruiting class that currently ranks fourth nationally according to 247Sports and third in the country per On3.
