It’s been a bit of a quiet month on the recruiting trail, but coach [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] is closing things off by completing a flip.
On Wednesday, the Tigers secured a commitment from Cy Ranch (Cypress, Texas) linebacker [autotag]Christian Brathwaite[/autotag]. The three-star prospect was previously committed to Baylor, pledging to the Bears back in January and taking an official visit to Waco in June.
However, Brathwaite picked up an offer from the Tigers on Tuesday, and LSU received several Crystal Ball projections from 247Sports to land him the same day. On Wednesday morning, he made the flip official and committed to the Tigers.

Brathwaite ranks as the No. 464 overall player and No. 40 safety in the country, per the 247Sports Composite. His addition puts LSU’s 2023 class at 23 overall commitments, though it still ranks No. 7 in the country.
