The red-hot LSU men’s basketball team (9-2, 4-1) is back in action on Saturday as it hosts the South Carolina Gamecocks (3-2, 1-0) in an SEC showdown.
The Tigers have won three games in a row and are currently just one game behind Alabama in SEC play.
South Carolina comes to Baton Rouge as the SEC’s only other undefeated team in league play, along with Alabama. However, the Gamecocks have only played one conference game thus far due to COVID-19 and just five games overall.
South Carolina last played on Jan. 7, defeating Texas A&M, 78-54, in its first conference game.
The Tigers are coming off a blowout win over Arkansas this week.
