LSU falls to No. 20 in latest AP poll

LSU fell to No. 20 in the AP Poll following its disappointing 44-34 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday.

The season-opener didn’t go as planned for the LSU Tigers, as they were stunned in a 44-34 home loss to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Of course, this meant that Ed Orgeron’s team fell across the polls and in the rankings across several outlets.

LSU fell to No. 20 in the AP Poll after the loss snapped the school’s 16-game winning streak.

The new AP Poll now reflects all conferences that plan to play football this fall, including the Pac-12, Big Ten and Mountain West.
