LSU falls out of the No. 1 ranking after weekend series loss to Auburn

We have a new No. 1 team after LSU dropped two-straight to unranked Auburn over the weekend.

The [autotag]LSU Tigers[/autotag]’ run as the No. 1 team came to an end on Monday when they fell from the No. 1 spot that they have held since preseason. They also lost the hold on the No. 1 spot in the SEC. The [autotag]Arkansas Razorbacks[/autotag] now have 0.5 game lead over the Tigers.

The Bayou Bengals dropped two of three games to the Auburn Tigers over the weekend. They were outscored 20-8 on Saturday and Sunday.

The [autotag]Wake Forest Demon Deacons[/autotag] have won seven of their last eight games on the season. The only loss in that span came in extra innings to the No. 17 Boston College Eagles.

The Clemson Tigers were the big winners this week after jumping up 11 spots to the No. 21 ranking. The Tigers are coming off a sweep of Louisville, who fell out of the rankings. The Oregon Ducks fell out of the top 25 after being ranked No. 19 last week. Oregon dropped two of three to unranked USC over the weekend.
