LSU defensive end Ray Parker suspended indefinitely

LSU has suspended defensive end Ray Parker indefinitely.

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron announced on Wednesday that redshirt freshman defensive end Ray Parker is suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

No additional details were disclosed.

Parker, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive end from Ruston High in Ruston, La., was a four-star recruit in the 2019 class. He played tight end in high school and transitioned to outside linebacker in his first year with the Tigers.

He was expected to play defensive end in new defensive coordinator Bo Pelini’s 4-3 scheme.
