Cornerback is a high-priority position for LSU in its 2025 recruiting class. LSU made that clear when it went all out to land [autotag]DJ Pickett[/autotag], the top corner recruit in the country.
But this is a spot where LSU needs to stockpile depth. Just Pickett isn’t enough and LSU remains in the mix with other top prospects.
One name to watch is [autotag]Aidan Anding[/autotag]. According to On3, LSU is now the leader for the services of the three-star corner from Louisiana. The Tigers made the jump after On3’s Shea Dixon entered an LSU prediction.
On3, 247Sports, and ESPN rank Anding as a top 15 player in the state of Louisiana. The 247Sports Composite rankings slot him as the No. 578 recruit in the country. On3 is the highest, ranking Anding as the No. 31 overall cornerback.
Before LSU made the jump, the On3 Prediction Machine had Texas in the lead.
This class has a more national feel to it than other LSU classes, but the Tigers still have six of the state’s top 10 players locked in. LSU’s turned three-star defensive backs from Louisiana into real difference makers before and Anding will look to join that list should he end up at LSU.
