The LSU men’s basketball team will be making an international tour in the Bahamas ahead of coach Matt McMahon’s second season. The team will be down in the islands from Aug. 6-12.
The Tigers will play several exhibition games at the Imperial Ballroom Arena in the Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island. So far, scrimmages have been set against the national teams from the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and Argentina.
College basketball teams are permitted to take international trips once every four years. The Tigers previously went to Spain in 2019, and the team has been to Canada, Australia and Italy in the past.

The Tigers are looking to bounce back from a disappointing first season under McMahon in which the team won just two games in SEC play. With a group that features a lot of new faces from the transfer portal, LSU will hope to right the ship this year.
