Four-star offensive lineman Julian Armella has let it be known that two programs are in his top two choices for commitment.
“LSU and Alabama are probably recruiting me the hardest,” Armella said in an interview.
Armella’s first visit to Baton Rouge is set for June 5-8, and he made it clear visits will be key in his decision.
“Ultimately, what’s going to decide where I go is June 1 when I can go visit these schools,” he said.
The 6-foot-6 lineman says whichever school makes him feel more at home will ultimately help him decide who to commit to.

Armella is ranked as the No. 14 offensive lineman in the country by 247Sports, and ranked as the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 6 overall player in the 2022 recruiting class.
His ranking could also climb in the coming months as he looks to finish out his senior season.
Other schools on his recruiting list outside of LSU and Alabama include Miami, right in his hometown.
This is obviously the kind of player every program would want on their roster, and we should have a better look at his decision following his summer visits.
