Washington didn’t have to look far to begin building their offensive line class for 2025.
The Huskies stayed in their own backyard on Thursday, earning a commitment from three-star offensive tackle Lowen Colman-Brusa of Kennedy Catholic in Burien, just over 15 miles away from Husky Stadium.
Kennedy Catholic is the same school that produced former Huskies Sam Huard, Sav’ell Smalls, Lonyatta Alexander Jr., and Jabez Tinae, all members of the 2022 roster. (Huard is now at Utah, Smalls at Colorado, Alexander at Montana State, and Tinae is out of football.)
Colman-Brusa also held offers from Duke, Montana, and Portland State, but the chance to stay local proved to be a convincing proposition for a Washington team who finished spring practice with nine healthy offensive linemen.
While Colman-Brusa helps solve that issue, Washington may also have taken his commitment as a ploy to appeal to his younger brother. Derek Colman-Brusa is a four-star edge rusher recruit in the 2026 class who currently ranks as the No. 1 player in Washington in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

A technically sound player who could play either tackle spot or move inside on Montlake, Colman-Brusa’s upside is underrated by his relatively low recruiting ranking. The elder brother is rated as the No. 80 offensive tackle and No. 7 player in Washington in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Washington is now up to 20 commitments in the 2025 class, which ranks as the nation’s No. 20 class according to 247Sports.
