Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The Los Angeles Rams (11-4) and Baltimore Ravens (8-7) come into Week 17 trending in opposite directions. The Rams have won their last four games, while Baltimore is in the midst of a four-game losing skid and in danger of missing the playoffs. Kickoff from M&T Bank Stadium will be at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. Below, we look at the Rams vs. Rams odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Rams followed up three straight November losses with a 4-0 run in December includes victories over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings.

Their most recent was a 30-23 Week 16 road win in Minnesota as they covered the spread for the fourth straight game. They now rank sixth in scoring offense and 15th in points allowed this season.

The Ravens went winless in December, losing their last four to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals. They played two of those games without QB Lamar Jackson, however, and they could still be without him on Sunday against the Rams. \

The Ravens have slipped to 16th in points scored and their defense has allowed the 20th-most points in the league.

Rams at Ravens odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Rams 24, Ravens 17

Money line

The Rams are playing some of their best football right now and have overcome a ton of adversity in December. They’ve won four straight despite that they haven’t been at full strength in over a month after being without several starters due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

I like the Rams to win this one on the road, despite the early kickoff, but I’m not crazy about the -240 money line. PASS and bet the Rams laying the points instead.

Against the spread

The Rams are a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four games, covering fairly easily in recent weeks. This line is sure to move depending on Jackson’s status but it feels fair at 5.5. Even if Jackson doesn’t play, there’s a chance the line won’t move too much with QB Tyler Huntley available.

Take the RAMS -5.5 (-110) to cover.

Over/Under

The Rams haven’t given up more than 25 points since Nov. 28 against the Packers and the 23 points they gave up to the Vikings are deceiving because QB Matthew Stafford gave up two red-zone picks that led to 10 Minnesota points. Los Angeles’ defense is playing well and should be able to contain a struggling Ravens offense.

Bet the UNDER 46.5 (-110) in this one.
