The Los Angeles Dodgers released their City Connect jerseys on Monday, and despite having some great releases in the past, these might be their best ones yet.

The Dodgers made some noise during the offseason by signing Shoehei Ohtani, Yoshinonu Yamamoto, and Teoscar Hernandez. It is only fitting that they are also making a splash with the uniforms they decided to wear on the field. Their new jerseys feature a unique confetti-like design on the fabric that represents the “galaxy of stars,” which is fitting for a team with many of the biggest names in the sport.

Los Angeles decided to get creative with the logo by combining their classic interlocked LA look with their alternate Dodgers “D” logo that they wear during Spring Training. This creates an all-in-one design that has a lot to it but, at the same time, does not do too much. This is featured on both the hat and the sleeves.

Los Angeles is written across the front of the jerseys, and it has a shooting star feel. It is a tribute to signage at the LA Memorial Coliseum, where the team originally played from 1958 to 1961. Above the certified authentic MLB patch in the bottom right of the jersey, they included ITFDB, which represents Vin Scully’s classic line, “It’s Time for Dodger Baseball.”

The new City Connect uniforms have been met with somewhat mixed reviews, but when the design as a whole is taken into consideration, these are an absolute home run. They will debut fresh fits on Saturday against the Angeles. Make sure to get your very own Los Angeles Dodgers City Connect hat or jersey by clicking on any of the links or photos to claim one today.
