The Clippers (-375) aren’t going to get tripped up in the Twin Cities, but you can’t risk nearly four times your potential return in this battle against the Timberwolves (+300). It’s just not a good long-term betting strategy. AVOID.

Against the spread (ATS)
The CLIPPERS -8.5 (-115) are without PG13, and it has been showing in the win-loss column. They’re just 1-3 SU/ATS across the past four, with the lone win a 121-99 victory in Cleveland as nine-point favorites. They’re in a similar spot here, and they’ll get the cover against the Timberwolves +8.5 (-105) just like they did back on Dec. 29 in L.A. in the first meeting. The Clips won 124-101 as 10.5-point favorites in that one, and we’ll see another cover here.
Over/Under (O/U)
The lean is to the OVER 227.5 (-105), but go very lightly. The Over has cashed in four of the past five for Los Angeles, while hitting in each of the past two for Minnesota. The Under (226) cashed in the first meeting by a mere one point. Look for an Over result here, as the T-Wolves allow 115.5 PPG to rank 26th in the NBA. L.A. will have their way with the Minnesota D.
