Coming into this one having lost three of its last four, Memphis was able to toast the Houston Rockets on Monday. With that in mind, the Grizzlies have plenty of rest and a roster that’s near full strength with Dillon Brooks back.
Led by star G Ja Morant, the Grizzlies matchup favorably, especially with C Steven Adams down low. Memphis is 5-3 at home.
They’ll take on the Clippers who are 2-2 on the road. LA is led by Paul George who is having an All-NBA-caliber season so far. He’s averaging 27.0 points per game, the second-highest amount of his career.
Los Angeles enters as slight underdogs.

Money line
PASS on the money line here. I like Memphis in this situation, and I’d take the points for marginally better odds.
Against the spread
BET on the GRIZZLIES -1.5 (-105) as the best team-specific bet. The Grizzlies have just been a much better team at home along with the Clippers having come off a long homestand and finally hitting the road.
Also, the Grizzlies have the second-best offensive rebounding rate while the Clippers are 18th in defensive rebounding.
That will play a huge factor. The Clippers lost to Memphis by six Oct. 23 despite George scoring 41 points. He should return to the mean, and the Grizzlies should be able to take care of business.
Over/Under
“LEAN” to the UNDER 220.5 (-110) as it has just been the far better bet in most games.
These two teams rank 13th (Memphis) and 20th in offensive rating (L.A.), so neither is necessarily dominant offensively, especially as both really only have one true star.
Both being quicker in pace than the average team is why the total crept higher. However, with the Under hitting at more than a 63% rate, per covers.com, I’d prefer that side on such a high total.
The Grizzlies have only hit 110 in one of their last four games. The Clippers have averaged 103 points over their last two games.
