Auburn’s rivalry against LSU has had its ups and downs.
The most recent tangle of Tigers finished in favor of Auburn to the tune of 37 points. It was the first time Auburn had beaten LSU since 2016. This season, Auburn comes into the matchup with a controversy at the quarterback position, which does not bode well for a team that hasn’t won in Baton Rouge since 1999. Whoever starts at quarterback for the Tigers from the plains will need to preform. If it’s Nix, I wonder how quickly Harsin will be willing to pull him before things potentially get ugly. If it’s Finley, it would not only make for a fantastic storyline, as he played for LSU against Auburn last season, but it would make for good theater.
