Looking back at the best of Anthony Richardson with Florida football

Take a gander at a film review of Florida’s outgoing star quarterback Anthony Richardson.

Florida football’s mercurial star quarterback [autotag]Anthony Richardson [/autotag]had an up-and-down season in his first year as the starter last fall, putting up both spectacular performances as well as a few stinkers. In fact, the issue with consistency dates back to before he assumed top signal-caller duties, always displaying raw potential while still appearing rather rough around the edges.

The redshirt sophomore finished the 2022 campaign completing 176 of 327 passes (53.8%) for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns against nine interceptions while scampering for 654 yards on 103 carries with three scores over 12 games played. Richardson amassed 215 completions on 393 attempts (54.7%) for 3,105 yards and 24 touchdowns against 15 picks over three years, along with 161 runs for 1,116 yards and 12 scores.

Despite some of the worrisome stats, the talented student-athlete feels ready to take things to the next level and entered his name into the 2023 NFL draft. He is expected by many to be a first-round selection — possibly even a top-10 pick.
