Looking at trap game candidates for the LSU Tigers

Who could be a potential trap game for the LSU Tigers on the 2021 schedule?

Week One: at UCLA Bruins

A week one trap game? That seems kind of farfetched at first glance. Let’s look at some of the reasons why we would put UCLA at the top of the list. The Bruins will host the Tigers right out of the gate and we are looking at this as a trap game because of travel for starters.

Ed Orgeron and company have to travel across two time zones to play in Southern California. That can take its toll on the team but they are ways to get acclimated prior to the kickoff of this game. Such as traveling earlier than the day prior.

The Bruins finished last season 3-4, not exactly a team you would think could give you trouble. All four losses were within a score, they lost to the Pac-12 Championship representatives by a combined eight points. A play here or there and they could have easily finished 5-2 or 6-1.

Plus they added Zach Charbonnet who is expected to be a solid running back for them.

What about an early nonconference matchup
