Wisconsin’s history of terrific running back play will continue this season, that is a definitive statement. Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi combined for 298 yards and four touchdowns in Wisconsin’s Week 1 win over Buffalo, generating all of the effective offense the Badgers needed to come away with a win.
Given it’s a new era of Wisconsin football and the Badgers figure to pass the ball more frequently, it’s good to know the team is still driven by the players in the running back room.
